Constitut Code
What are the effects of complication? And
A. As such good effects it has none
What are its bad effects?
A. Perplexity, error, & or deception by fraud: & delay of
useful measures.
1. Perplexity. By some persons the system is gazed
at they are bewildered by the aspect of it, they see not the
effects of it & know not how to act in consequence.
2. Error. By others false conceptions are formed in relation
to it, they take wrong measures in consequence &
experience suffering in some shape or other, or cause
others to experience it in consequence of those measures.
3. Deception produced by fraud. Those by whom the
structure of the system is throughly understood, take
advantage of those perplexities & those errors & turn them
to their own account. Among the errors which they observe
in it, they give continuance & increase to all those
by means of which, they are enabled to promote their own
interest at the expense of all those in whose breasts the
perplexities & misconceptions have place.
