Evidence
Of two all-comprehensive all-pervading masses of instances, in which,
throughout the whole system of technical judicature
conclusions, are built and having been built are continually acted upon, by men,
to whom, one and all those conclusions the premises
on which those conclusions are built, and consequently thence
the conclusions themselves are – is without their own
wilful default would be – known to be false, this
is the first, for the mention of which the occasion
has here happened to present itself.
Under the head of non-observance of formalities
a feature considered as or affected as being, or at least dealt
with as if it were, evidence evidence conclusively probative
of s unfairness on the part of a contract, or spuriousness
on the part of an instrument of contract – of under
instance with a mention this head, mention of the other instance will come to be made,
in the chapter on pre-appointed evidence.† † Ch. 12.
Nullification, – to which belong conjugates and
quasi-conjugates in the character much too abundant to
be here collected, – null, void, bad, quash, set
aside, and so forth – nullification is the name given to the fictitious
engine of iniquity by the effect sort of effect here spoken of is produced
in both instances produced. Nullification
of Instruments and operations of judicial procedure – nullification
of contracts and instruments of contract – what
soever have been the subject to which it has been applied,
lawyer's profit is the what the in machinery will be found to
have had almost exclusively for its object, lawyercraft for its inventor and constructor –
not (until part of it )
iniquity and
misery for its effects.
