Evidence Introd.
No Sincureist Sinecurist, under the name of Marshal
drawing from £4,210, the amount in 1797, to
whatsoever greater sum it may have mounted to by this
time: – 27th Report of the Finance Committee of 1797-8,
p.257.
The Bedchamber-haunting Sinecurist, drawing from
the same blood-stained source from £20,357
the amount Ao.. to spend or keep (the amount Ao
1810 as per Account taken Ao 1810) to spend or hoard, plus £26,017 to dispose
of in sub-Place Sub-Clerkships or Sub-Sinecures: the money
of the suitors being kept out of the hands to which it was due, their own money,
while £7,800 a yearout in part of the £20,357 a year,
was extracted of squeezed out of it. [First Report of the
