High Court man of the highest rank be tried by a Court of
the lowest order for an offence not political, for
an offence not comprised within the jurisdiction
of this High Court? Would not a brother of the
King's be tried before by a District-Court if for a
blow if the blow was proved fatal, and before by the
Judge of the Peace in his Canton-Court if he it
did not? It is a bad imitation of an original that did not deserve to be imitated.
