10 Examples Examples of cases in which it may appear
manifest that no useful purpose could be answered
by the preservation of the record.
1. Ordinary cases of debt, where the debt was never
disputed or has been at length acknowledged
2. Complaints of slight assaults
3. Complaints for words of vague reproach
11 Particular note to be taken of suppression of evidence. Particular note shall be taken in the record
1. Where the Judge refuses to suffer either party
a witness person to be examined
2. Where a question is being put to a person under examination
the Judge stops him from answering
or refuses to insist upon his answering thereto.
The witn examinations of all witnesses how
remote soever from the source of information shall
be entered in the original record: but in the extract
shall contain need be given only the examinations of immediate
witnesses only or such as come stand in the place
of immediate entering only upon the extract the
name of the remote witness with an intimation of
the im less remote or immediate witness or witnesses
