the seal of the Department Court of Justice will
probably, in this case not be the seal of the Department - Representative
-Assembly, and the members of that Assembly as if
they have any often as they have any business
to transact before the Court of Justice must either
above forego their private duty or interest which
ever it may be at the Court, or quiet this public
duty at the Assembly. If the seal of the Court
thus doubly-loaded is the capital of the department
the Court thus loaded, with additional business
of a higher nature will be the Court already the most loaded of any
with the sort of inferior business with which its fellow-courts
are charged.

This economy well or ill chosen imagined does not extend
itself I observe either downwards to the
Canton District Courts or upwards to the Superior Courts
not to the District Courts for the reason I suppose as I conjecture
that the Canton Courts have a particularity
in this given them in the mode of the appointment to the office which
would impede their coalescence with the District
Court above; + + See not to the Superior Courts, for some
reason which I do not immediately apprehend, and
which I shall probably stand excused if I am not anxious
to investigate.
