Parochial Publicity Church 10 Publicity mans of t - This remains the great object chapter of publicity.
My object aims are endeavour is 1. to take a public wherever
I can find one: 2. to make one wherever I can:
and 3. to make render both the one and the other as
much of a public as possible.

11 1. Taking whatever is ready made viz Church A public I find, and that a very considerable
one in the congregation of every Parish
Judge. It is likewise the best sort of public: that
which most nearly encircles the parties, that on on
whose opinion they are best most dependent, and
that which takes the nearest interest in their
conduct and their fate. By laying open to the eye of that public every
legal transaction which has no particular need claim of
secresy, to the eye of that public, I for cut off
all possibility of secret oppression and secret
partiality. In return for the attention they
assistance they give me in keeping a watchful
eye over my suitors my witnesses and my
Judges I provide them a fund of instruction
and entertainment; instruction of the most interesting,
and entertainment of the most useful, kind. I correct it by giving it a proper direction
