Preface or Conclusion
(2 §. Adequacy of this Code
3
Direct evidence comparison
of particular articles made
by author & his friends
Of The direct evidence the matter is composed of the declaration
of the author that at different times he has looked over though not
every article of the number every word all the words of which these several
works are respectively composed yet of what is quite sufficient for
the purpose of the titles on any head under which it is arranged.
To this declaration of the author himself are added the declarations
of divers friends of his all of them competent no one of whom can be charged with being inadequate to the task
4
Circumstantial evidence
the complications of
the existing law of
Procedure
Of this same evidence The circumstantial part is composed of the indications
which will here be afforded of the some of the principal sources of the complicatedness —
that horrendous and ever encreasing disease of which the
body of the so called law of Procedure labours
In proportion as in speaking of any one of the several
masses of matter in question the needlessness and uselessness and
thence mischievousness is indicated indication will be afforded
of a correspondent quantity of matter by the elimination of which
as far as it extends, the here proposed Code will stand exculpated liberated
from the imputation of scantiness.
☞ Curate the printed between Natural and Technical Procedure
for the sources of complication and consequent ness
of provision.
