In Demand Paper
to be inserted the denomination
of the offence

In the demand paper under the head of the
denomination of the Offence to which it appears that the act
is referable will be inserted.

When offence referable
to several heads divers
offences named in
the disjunctive

As many in numerous instances the offences run
one into another, in such sort that the same individual
act may without impropriety be susceptible of several denominations,
or it may as yet be matter of uncertainty to which
of several the evidence may on judicial examination be
found to apply, divers offences may to this purpose be d named
in the disjunctive.

Pursuer & legal adviser to bring demand
paper to Judge ready
filled up

Where the demand paper is brought ready filled up
under this head, the difficul time will so far be saved and trouble
saved to the Judge: it will in this case have been the work
of the Pursuer or his legal assistants advisers

Where pursuer uninformed & unassisted
Judge to fill up
the paper

In the case where an uninformed an unassisted individual
comes to tell his story to the Judge it will belong to the Judge
upon taking his examination to fill up the Demand paper
under this head.

of the investigation

As the supposed facts come out in the course of the
examination, the denomination of the offences may from time
to time be amended toties quoties: offences in species struck-out — offence or offences added — offence or offences added

Wrongs By the same person to the same person
wrong in an indefinitely numerous variety of shapes each of them characterised
by the denomination of an offence may have happened happen
to have been committed. By one and the same let a mass of
evidence it may happen to it to have been substantiated: by decease
pronounced — all the demands at the same time the delay vexation and
expence will be minimized.
