Art. 2 Of the Defendants statement will be formed
the contents of the Defendant's Defence paper. Heads
under which the matter will be to be arranged the following

1. Defendant, who. Subhead as per Demand paper
2. Means of intercourse for the purpose of the suit, what

3. Effective Service demanded, acknowledged to be due acknowledgement of its being
due with promise of performance in place, time and
manner mentioned; or denial of its being due: or
acknowledgment &c as to part, and denial as to part:

4. Ablative portion of Law if any ruled on. Matter as per Demand
paper, Ablative facts negatived.
5. Ablative fact, if any, alledged.

known or expected, statement to that effect. Matter as
per Demand paper. Co-demandant or Co-demandants
if any.
7. Sources of Evidence looked to, in disproof of the Demandants
Collative facts, or proof of the Defendants Ablative
facts. Matter as per Demand paper VII Sources of Evidence
&c. IX. Counterevidence &c with confirmation or denial of
