In every suit and as
to every individual option
as to addressing a mandate
to him or a prehensive
mandate to a prehensor

Art. 18 In every one of the five sorts of suit, and
in every individual of each sort, the option of employing either
a mandate addressed to the individual at whose hand compliance
is expected and called for, or a prehensive mandate addressed to a
prehensor and requiring prehension to be performed either
in a person or a thing or on both to be performed as the case
may be

Art 19 Whether the need has place can not be determined with
propriety by the mere consideration of the species of suit that is to
say as to whether it belongs to one or another of the alternative four
species.

incuplative species the it may happen the employment of this ready
instrument strong and as it is or may be needful

Art. 20 2. In the case of a suit between individual suit belonging
to the criminative species whether it be the purely public or
the publico-private species it may happen that the employment
of this instrument of security may be needless indeed to by far
the greater part of the extent, so it will be.
