1. Judicature
Judicature is an operator, the performance of
which must in the nature of the series precede the
every other: if so it be allowed what in respect of with reference to the act performed
by application made to the Judge, it is contemporary,
yet before any applicant can be received
the act of taking a seat on the judgment bench in readiness
to the give view to receiving any such application, is at any
rate in point of time anterior to it. As to the act, by
which a functionary with power to take cognizance of all
such application, it is an act still in point of time anterior: the act gives considerable but in the law of

is accordingly on the present occasion put aside and referred
to its proper place.
