Interest upon Costs
of the Appeal
on which the Judgment appealed from was given; and
down to the day on which they are paid.
Reasons
Before the costs of a suit are all incurred
the party must make provision for them. As this
is an extraordinary and unforeseen expence, he is very
often obliged to borrow money to defray it.
It is For want of provisions such as these that the
Law of England in no scarce any case gives a man an adequate
satisfaction for any pecuniary injury. He
is never scarce ever put into quite as good a condition as he
would have been in had it not been for the offence.
