Behaviour in Court

The parties and all other persons present in Court
shall behave in a submissive are humble and respectful manner before the
Judge how high soever be their rank. A Judge in the execution
of his office is superior to every other person whatsoever.

If any one behave disrespectfully to a Judge acting
in the execution of his office, the Judge may commit him
to prison upon the spot, upon the following conditions.

Disrespective behaviour may be by words or looks or gestures.
If it be by words, the Judge may at any time interrupt
and repeat the words at which he takes offence saying to
him Were those your words? If he admit them, the Judge
shall forthwith put them down in writing, and relating the
occasion on which they were spoke shall make a record of
the whole matter and make an order of commitment thereupon:
which order he may forthwith carry into execution
if any two of the persons presented will attest with their
signatures the truth of the facts averred in the record, and
not otherwise.

If the person do not admit those words the Judge
