Pursuit of the
ends, the sole cause of
the English law in
regard to Removal
of causes
The labours and projects of the wolf, ere yet the race species
was exterminated from British ground, had have they the good of the
sheep in view? If so, the arrangements established under by
the English mode fo technical system, according to the English modification
of it, in relation to Removal and under in its various
shapes and under its various denominations. Set down as the
object or end really in view the faculty of the manufacture of a pretence for plundering the afflicted,
every thing is plain and clear: set down assumed for as the end in view
the ends of justice, every thing is inexplicable, and consistently
with the known principles of human nature, impossible.
