Incompetency of
Judge or legislative
advisers

Thus stands it with the supposed advisers in petticoats:
how stands it with the actual advisers in full bottomed perukes and long robes.

What they understand is how to give answer to injustice
legalised and established depredation extortion and oppression, and
the mountain of misery which is the product of it.
What they do not understand — what they have no
comprehension of — what they would not have had to
do, if contrary to possibility they wished to do it, is
to make defalcation from it. Nature as an angry in the instance
of which medical reports stand substituted in the skull
of a child to the greater part of the brain which
should have been thence a species of vermin called hydrides
composed of animated globules of fetid matter.
Art. in the instance of this, so well adjusted associated adviser
of Mr Peel, has by the
lucubrations contrived to substitute to common
sense an enlarged portion of uncommon nonsense.
Fortified by power imposed with that by
which reason is put to flight or put to confound
with that effrontery by which if present the she would be put
to silence.

save criminals in
order to multiply fear

In regard to What they understand is — not how when committed
it should be prison and the murderer consigned to condign punishment:
but how when committed, whether proved or no it T
the murderer may be saved from punishment, and
sent out let lose to commit fresh murders, points of fresh fees
What is compleatly known to them no secret to any of them is that there is not a
net of villainy as this that can be committed, but that in some way
or other than in present or in future as or possible or
in expecting they have comprized to make themselves gainers
for
for such is the sure consistent
and uncontravertible
and well
understood effect of
the fee-gatherers system
in proportion as it is applied
