The demand, the just and necessary demand, for these
the performance of those several respective operations will of course be
repeated and multiplied, by the repe every addition made to the number
of the objects which serve either as subject matters of those respective
operations or as occasions of their being performed.

In any given cause In proportion to the great proportion of the number of operations the demand for which
happens to take place, and of the number of the objects by
which the demand for such repetitions is produced, the cause nature of the
cause is more and more complicated.
