Evidence
A third is that, as all the abuses and miseries which the system
is continually presenting in such abundance to every eye that is not
wilfully closed against them, are the result of the technical system as above
delineated, and the principles of corruption in which it took its rise,
it is impossible not in the nature of things that those grievances should be removed or materially
lessened by any other means cause but by the utter extirpation of those system, and the substitution
of the natural system guarded by against corruption by the exclusion
of the principle of corruption (pay by commensurable fees) in which
the conductors of the technical system, the highest degree or purity
compatible with the circumstance first of bearing a part in the conduct of such
a system could for the purpose of any material remedy to those
abuses be necessarily without effect.
