To a first glance the view here given may perhaps be apt to
appear injurious and uncomfortable: injurious to a particular
class of men, un injurious perhaps to human nature, uncomfortable
in respect of future prospects of the future.
To a second glance it will On a closer inspection, the object will brighten under our eyes
nothing injurious to individuals no injury, scarce an imputation,
nor for the worst that can be inputed imputation that can be found to attach, an excuse at
least if strictly in strictness not an absolute justification: in respect of the future
the prospect comfortable pleasing and even luxuriant in the highest
degree.
