Question: whereas the making of Coining Tools
is an Accessory, to an Habit or Practice (as it
might be called) viz: that practice of Coing
and tho' not directly to any Principal Offence
yet to a Habit which terminates ultimately in
principal Offences as many in Number are as
the Instances of it's Exertion.

And now we see one Reason for a
remarkable Circumstance, why not only this lat-
ter which is an Accessory of the 4th Remove &,
consequently the more so much the more re-mote
from the principal than the other which is of
the 1st, has been marked in practice with
as a Punishment much heavier not only than
that other, but even than that of the principal
itself: another is being, that is the Act of fabrica
-ting the Coin (viz: that which happens to be
the Accessory of the third Remove in the Chain)
that gives Birth to itself the Instrument since
qua non of the whole Mischief; this being
