The Acts of Offenders Accessory may be synchrony. Offences
Accessory cannot exist but in succession.

In every Act the number of persons concerned will must be either
one or several.

If several, the several different different parts which they may be
conceived capable of assuming are as follows.

The part a man takes may be performed —
By energy {Mental or Corporal} & this in point of place either {In presence or In absence}
with respect to the Scene of the principal Action.
In point of time either {or Previously.

In order to illustrate this we will suppose a given crime
for example Murder to have been perpetrated & in that
& previous perpetration we will further suppose all the different
persons concerned upon the occasion of each a —
transaction, to have been assumed, of those
parts we will follow the order of Chronology: & will
assume but one person for each part for the greater
simplicity but will assume a different one for each for
the greater distinctness of the

First then comes he whose original conception it was
to do the deed: it is he who is the principal actor by
mental energy: him we may denominate The Prime
mover He engages some other person to do the Deed:
such other person will then be the Prime Actor in Corporeal
energy. In the mean time in order to work up
the person last mentioned to his resolution others have
concurred by their influence: one standing to him in the
relation of a superiority by his command, His Master
for example others standing towards him in the relation
of equals or inferiors by persuasion: & of these again some
by the display of motives already existing & those applying
one to his Interest the other his Conscience to his Interest
or by telling him that such & such persons will think
well of it:

To his Conscience: as by telling him that the party is a
Heretic, & God's enemy, one by advice on his own account
another by entreaty; another by the creation as by
Him.

This being concluded &ampl time & place agree on one goes
to the person to be murder'd, to engage him in some one
of the ways above numerated to be at the place destined
for his distruction — others to his Friends servants and

Relations to prevent their being in the way to lend him
