§. Suppression of evidence
Suppression of
evidence – less mischievous
than anti-judicial
false assertion.
– Evil of the 1st
Order. Suppose the
same Order Evil of
the 2nd Order less.
Wrongdoer cannot
choose his intended
wrongees or
in the case of antiquated
Falshood.
This offence will
only be to the prejudice
of some signed
individual. The offence
being less so the
punishment.

In so far as deception
is effective erroneous
judgment is produced.

In so far as the effect
of erroneous judgment
is wrongful the correspondent
act of deception
is an offence.

Deceiver he who produces
– Deceiver he in
whose mind is produced
erroneous judgment.

Modes of deceiving

Negative by suppression.

when but for suppression

of evil in all offences
but setting aside

of itself no offence.

species of offence.
