2. Malicious Mischief. Bridges

he has had his hand , & then every body sees he cannot swear falsely as he would before.
But let him do what he will in the way of mischief to the Bridge called London —
Bridge, so there at Westminster & Fulham, be it, Man or Woman, he they must die.+
+ That is an improvement for by the first Act it was only Felony
He is welcome however to do what mischief he pleases to any of the works, except to
those of London Bridge, where he might as well demolish the whole

I am a rich Man — I have half-a-hundred Ragamuffins without shoes to

forfeit be sure to all their Estates Real & Personal: If they are out of luck they will get a singed hand; But
I will give them 5 Guilders a piece smart money.

I would recommend it to the French Duc d'Angouleme if the Law in this behalf is not alter'd to lose
no time, but to send somebody on this errand.
