C 5. Of Simple Personal Injuries. Aggravation I. Seniority
Seniority of the Party injured. Where the party injured is old enough (A) to have been the
parent of the offender: which he shall be deemed to be if older
by Twenty years: more particularly if old enough to be
the parent of his parent; and so on. The wise respect the
wiser.
Aggravation II. Sex Exposition
[(A) Old enough] This he shall be presumed to be for the present purpose if older by
20 years.
Aggravation II. Sex.
Imbecilliority in point of Sex Where the party injured is a female, (if the offender being
a male. For such <case if he have no excuse to his other punishment None but a coward beats <add>attacks a woman.</add>
