Real
Not long ago Coming forward in the character of a reformist, a learned
gentleman, taking three species of deeds(a) as samples for the subject matter
of his operation produced partly by elimination partly by
transformation produced correspondent samples char purified
to a large amount from the vices of redundance and
lengthiness. Still In those improved samples howsoever in what degree so ever purified
from the vice of lengthiness an unlearned eye person observed
a still remaining degree of that vice, together with involvedness: and of the two together a considerable degree of obscurity not without some degree of incorrectness. See as to
the matter §. 9. For remedy, he employed a fresh
transformation: and adding at the same time for encrease of clearness some new
portions of matters, notwithstanding which addition the
lengthiness of the whole may be seen diminished. See §. 9.
The object of the unlearned person as by him declared
was the rendering the instruments in question intelligible to all the
whose interests were thereby affected: young unmarried
females in general not excepted.
By the learned reformist the instruments provided exhibited
by him were left in a state in which no one it is believed
will state what abovementioned property as belonging to them.
