But documents exhibiting bringing to view in conjunction: on the
one part hand the multitude of superfluous needless operations, together
with the multitude of superfluous needless writing instruments,
with the quantity of superfluous discourse in each, on the
other hand, the needless expense of the whole, – this is what
no such revolution as the above could have produced: no
nor any other efficient cause, other than the power so given
to you as above.

After all suppose this power employed as above, and
employed to the best advantage, which will it may be acted with
be the beneficial effect produced by it? Answer. This and this only
may be the are a demonstration of the need which has place
for an entire new system of arrangement relative to the
subject matter in question. Now for my own part for the
inducing in my breast a persuasion of the existence of such
a demand no more need is there of any such body of evidence
then for inducing the persuasion that two and two makes four of my own existence. But
others there are in whose instance to towards the production of this same
persuasion such a body of evidence may have its use.

A particular incident that presents itself to my memory
the mention may to this purpose have its use. Some years ago It is
anecdote mentioned to me by Mr Butler: a state of things
which had fallen under his own cognizance. Value of property
to be put in settlement on the occasion of a Marriage Settlement,
£28,000 and odd, actual cost of the Marriage Settlement
£2,700 and odd, or else the disproportion still greater viz.
the £27000 the amount of the property, and £2800 that the cost of the
Ins Written Instrument by the time it was prepared and executed.
The exact year I do not remember: but the place of the area in an adjacent to Lincoln's Inn
New Square the recollection is still vivid. There for him would I
hope suffice to bring it to his recollection, and thereby to cause at the Bell of Castle, though I should rather
think the business was not of the number of those which had had the advantage of being placed in his hand.
