I As to the purpose for which I take all this liberty
which is or that which has been already mentioned; that which
it is not is the imputing blame to you or any of you
for the acceptance of the situation the of the nature of which
a portrait picture is thus drawn and held up. No one of you
but has had to say to himself, how little I may
make of that self sacrifice which in show I am
called upon to make less I shall not than will
be made by any one of my colleagues

Under These things considered I have been labouring
hard to render it possible for me to persuade myself that on
the part of the high functionaries whoever they were are by whom
a the choice has was made of gentlemen all of them so situated any real
desire of lessening in any degree the evils the lessening of
what are the professed object of this institution had place
I could not with sincerity attribute any such design to their
respective grandmothers in the last stage of caducity.
