(1) Rules concerning Polyonginua Equivocasuperflua - Polygamua Superflua - Loinders
When Purification of Equivoques
When a Term has more than one sense (two for example) for the
one of which there is [besides] an unequivocal term [besides] but for the other
not, in order to save the dis toties quoties repetition of a distinctive circumscriptive epithat
which must be used otherwise to same prevent cut off in remedy of the ambiguity, the word may by (
position establishment) be discharged of the former sense - Thus the Word Month
i.e. the space of time between comprized between [+] [+] given day in any month and the same day in the next month inclusive of the terminies a quo but exclusive of the terminus ad quam finicus
has two senses, meaning either Calendar or Lunar; & therefore one or other
of those epithets of Distinction must constantly be added
to it: but the Month signifying Lunar Month has also the term "4 weeks"
to exp denote it+ + 4 weeks however is the sense given to it in 2nd Just. 738. — Let therefore Wherefore let the word be discharged of this
house; so that it shall be understood henceforward as Invested only with so
the other. alone only

(2) Rule where some only of the specific articles comprised under a quinical one are included.

to find out that most compendious way structure of the sentence which as far as relate defined
on to them shall be the most compendious, 2 things are to be considered: 1
whether the number of these included or excluded is be the greatest: greater if of
those excluded included then at all events the quinicul term is to be used, henceforwards the
Repetition expects either the whole System or 2dly a particular formation or clause: according as an article may be over for all to for the whole System of Codes, & so I through the several Divisions, to move in a clause for will to for each column the several Commons.

consider'd how many they those are which are included and how often it will
be necessary to repeat them: by this means it will be seen which of these two groups will make the fairest words: <add> viz</add>
