To Justices at a special periodical sessions is committed
the power of granting licenses to the various classes of Publicans
to follow their respective occupations.

Considerations proper to guide their discretion be to the
number and choice of persons to be licensed, let the
Justices discretion of the Justices govern itself by two
considerations. 1t The demand for Public Houses
in the neighbourhood where any one is proposed to
be established; 2dly the character of the candidate.

several spots in this within the pale field of this the Magistrates jurisdiction is

In CountiesLet the general field of a Justice's jurisdiction, the
County, be divided distinguished for this purpose into Hundreds: and
let each Hundred constitute a distinct field of Jurisdiction.
