The abuses imperfections of the law have for ages been a standing
throne to the of satyrists in their several modifications
of poets, essayists and dramatists: but their either
by their prejudice or by discretion they have in general
been withheld from looking so high in this country more especially, as to trace the corruption
to its source. Your Lordship's discernment at the very outset will secure
your a clear perception of the wide distinction between this play those sports of
