2. As to times stage or time of removal, the wrong time appears, in
my view of the matter, to be any time anterior to
final judgment: two cases excepted: one, where the
effect of an interlocutory judgment, or a projected sequence
of interlocutory judgments might be tantamount to that of
a final one: the other, where the interlocutory being so
formed, the effect of it, if not stopped by recourse, or notice
of intended recourse to the Court above, might be in one
shape or other irreparable damage: [☞ the Exemplify the
shapes here or in the succeeding Resolution] two grounds of exception,
of neither of which, in his anxiety to save Your
Lordships from the trouble of hearing Appeals in Interlocutors
(of which in its place) seems not to have been aware.
