Scotch Reform To Ld Grenville

Abuse 1. Representations in an infinite series. boundless. After judgment pronounced
in the Outer House by the Lord Ordinary, representations applications
insisting on praying for a reversal or alteration of the judgement
entertained by the same individual in an endless succession, under the name of
Representations.

In the Appendix, should Your Lordship's patience so far, in a section appropriated to this very subject, in a chapter
in which a few samples are given inserted for the purpose of giving a few samples of the
corruptions corruption planted in the system of judicature track of procedure by the
fee-gathering system, this, presenting itself as one of as being among the most faited
served to close the list. To the observations therein made contained
a more particular closer survey directed to Scotch the judicature judicial system
of Scotland in particular has suggested a few additional
remarks.

At that time In regard to the number bestowed to received of these successive
representations , any one of which would be of itself
have been sufficient to constitute a reasonable abuse, I
would at this time only speak in general terms. Now in

as a number which had fallen within his own observation:

in the authoritative collection of decisions published by the faculty
of Advocates, Acts anecdotes of this sort transpire only by accident.
In one and the same cause, among practisers Advocates A. may have witnessed twenty such representations, and B. know
never have heard of any such thing.
