To decide what in respect of time shall be one & what shall be
several offences. in offences of continuances

For punishing Drivers exposing owners to penalties
without their order.

As if a driver should borrow a Horse & by making
him it supernumerary have it seized, by negligence,
or in confederacy with an Informer

Majority sufficient v. 27 G.2- 16. §3.</lb> As often as it is said that a certain number
of Trustees are impower'd to do an Act, it
is meant that such a number at the least
shall be present: but a majority of such number
shall be sufficient to make the resolution for the purpose valid,
and the minority disapproving shall notwithstanding shall notwithstanding their disapprobation
sign with the majority. The number present being specified the ( a number as shall appear to be) signature of the majority shall be sufficient. That it is meant amajority should be sufficient, may be confirmed from this that the number specified in the Act is always an odd one.

For backing of Warrants, particularly of Distress, This is providing by 24 G.2. 55. where
the Convict lives out of the Jurisdiction of the Justice
of the Place where the Offence was committed.

Negligence cured.
To provide against Trustees omitting to give directions Order
according to the several requisitions provisions in the Act:
where those provisions are exemptions let them
take place of course without order: if none is
given at the next meeting. [+] [+] whit I shall have occasion to make other on for another the [of A.P.A shews the supposed Existence of a disposition to throw shake off the authority of a Law is not a altogether a chimerical Idea.

Not repeatable nisi expresse.
No part of Article in this Act shall be deemed to be repealed
by any subsequent act unless it be by an express
words of repeal clause applied to the whole together or
to some Section by name it's Number or to some Article by
name it's Number. Such words clause if in a general Law Act to be a clause
of repeal, if in a local Act, words of containing a clause of non-obtain 11. Observe to admitt of appeal before execution for which see Burn. Dogs.
