The usual pretence is to oppose the force of Authority
to the Violence of the Passions : but here it
certainly has no foundation : the passions are not
listed on one side more than on another :
for wickedness is not to be inferred neither is it has it been
inferred from one proportion relative to the subject
more than from another.

That Charity to all Men , which makes promises soon daily
progress to stablish itself in the hearts of all men, but of the
hired professed expounders teaches of that Law by which it is
inferred :
