In the classing of these fallacies the force of which seemed to direct address itself
to the affections to the affections, together with those of which the force seemed to direct respectively to address
itself to the imagination and the judgment, the order which seemed preferable on other
accounts for the for the marshalling of the
divisional titles had they stood by themselves would have here have</unclear> been preferred
could not with advantage be given to the portions of matters
respectively contained brought to view under those heads.

If of two portions divisions of matter one can not so well there be one and but one which
be understood till the other has passed under review
that without which the other can not so well be understood
regains claims precedence by a title to which no
other of equal cogency goodness can be opposed. If for the understanding
if the rendering of it be necessary, so irresistible is the consideration by which adjudge
the precedence is adjudged to be is so strong that no other can enter into competition with it.

requisite

last.

By this consideration it is that that order has was
been dictated determined, which has been will be seen observed in given to the marshalling
of the several portions of matter
which will be found under the several titles heads, and thence
in the marshalling of order given on that occasion to the heads or titles themselves.
