The law of procedure the only real use of which is
to give off execution and effect to the rule of action, is
it is delivered, or other rather ought to be have been delivered in the body of
the law — the law of procedure, is it, on two coins
out of every twenty, applied to any better use than the that of filling
the pockets of its professions? In two c cases out of every
twenty is the engagements taken by in the body of the law
broken without or mercy by the Judge? acknowledged right defended, [manifest notorious
crimes and work proved and notorious crimes gratified with impunity] by quibbles not so
much as pretended to bear any relation to the merits?
