any more than instructed? Of the mischievousness of any
even the most mischievous measure are they really made
sensible by observations which apply with equal force to
the lowest and to the best? No: but up stands somebody
who has this to say upon all subjects, and nothing else
upon any, and gives this as a watch word to shew men
which way they are to vote. By a little finger held up
from the same quarter, equal instruction would be conveyed,
and abundance of time saved.

From any of the particular arrangements proposed
can any particular mischiefs or dangers be pointed
out as about to flow? To do this would be to say
something: but this is exactly what the sort of wisdom
thus displayed never attempts.
