is of the opener of the business of
exchange. There there is exchange, there must have
been previous Want on both sides – and the demand the offer
which is the intimation declaration of want may have been
made on either side. He who has money, is as
truly in want while he has nothing but the money,
though he has all the money in the universe,, as he
who has goods to sell – i.e. to exchange give for money.
But money, being the representation of every
thing, being that for which in the ordinary state of
things any thing & every thing is to be had is of course more
frequently in demand – the subject of demand – the
subject of want – there any one thing a sort of thing
in particular. Advertisements of Sales are
accordingly more frequent numerous than advertisements from
persons who want to purchase.
