the present quantity
of work can be
done by the Machinery
in a
given time: it
may be 5, 10,
20 times: but
the Undertaker may
limit the power
given to his agent,
forbidding him to
engage unless he
finds the improvement acceleration
amount to
a certain number
of times: say twice.

The inventer
to have nothing
of the gain in
point of time does
not amount to
cent per cent.

The inventor
not to be charged
anything for
the any more wood than
so much as is
actually wrought.
This to prevent
negle bad economy
in laying in a
greater stock of
wood than necessary:
and fraud
in charging more
than has been actually
bought in.

charged with interest

buildings and
other expenditure

he contents himself
