Whereof have died 29
The convicts named in the above Returns to
your Lordships are in general healthy, their
behaviour has been orderly with but few exceptions, the
greatest care is taken to keep all stronger spirituous
liquors from them, the Convicts are employd in
keeping the Ship clean and wholesome which necessary
work is constantly attended to

J. Groundwater of the Town of Dock in the Parish
of Stoke Damerell in the County of Devon Deputy
Overseer of the Convicts confined on board the his
Maj. Ship Dunkirk in Hamoaze near Plymouth
maketh Oath that the Return --- contains ----
all and every the persons now in custody their -- ages, bodily state & behaviour and
also the names of the offenders who have escaped
died or been lawfully released from the sd ship
between 31 May 1790 & 2 Novr 1790
Sworn at Dock 3d Nov. 1790
before me
"Geo. Strode a Commissioner
&c."

name
