I allott A Centinel at the commencement of
the avenue in place of a Porter or Turnkey within
the building, to one such house I allott, since
less than one can not be allotted, to one such
house of them not but one: but for two or three such
one and the same centinel would equally
serve.

I allow for patrolling centinels at a time
if such a system of guarding should be deemed
necessary to one such house: viz one to each
of the four surrounding walls to one such house
but were there two or even three such houses together
the necessary area necessary for yards and
gardens would not be so far increased but that
the four centinels might still serve.
