Entry as against Owners
Manner of making Entry upon any part in the name of the whole, of the premises referred to in the
General Preamble, and in §. of this Act, and specified in the Paper marked A, for the purpose
of gaining seisin of the whole in Fee, as also possession thereof as against the Owner or Owners.
Stick into the Ground, on any part of the premises, a stake having thereon mounted a board against
which is fastened a proper notice in writing which may be to the effect contained in the Form following:
viz:
To the Owner or Owners of the Land which in the Record of the Inquisition taken under an Act
of the 19th year of the Reign of his present Majesty Ch.74. by a Jury sitting on the 8th Day of Sept.
1782 at the Public House then & now known by the name of the Faulcon hereunto near adjacent,
stands described as follows: viz: [Here copy from the Record the description of the parcels]
Take Notice that in pursuance of the Act of the... of his present Majesty Ch. §
3. I Jeremy Bentham Esquire [or I A.A. as Agent for Jeremy Bentham Esquire] therein
named do make Entry, for the purpose of gaining seisin in fee simple as agains the Owner or
Owners thereof, whatsoever they may be. Witness my hand this day of... 1179
