Sending Instructions for the
payment, to be backed by
Order from the Office -

Art.14. The Governor may along with the said money transmitt to the said
Post Office a letter of Instruction concerning the payment thereof addressed to the said
Post Master: which Letter may be according to the Form marked [C.5.] and shall
thereupon forthwith be forwarded from the said Office, backed by an annexed order from
the said Office, backed by an annexed Order from the proper Officer to the said Post Master:
which Order may be according to the Form marked [C.6.]

Post Master to pay the
money accordingly, deducting
his fee -

Art.15. The said Post Master shall upon the receipt of such Letter of Direction
and Order as aforesaid duly execute the said Order and shall thereupon on receiving
from the Annuitant proper receipts which may be according to the form marked [C.7.]
pay over to him the sum so remitted to the General Post Office, to wit in one payment
or by monthly or weekly instalments according to the instructions given in the
said letter: deducting as his fee, if such payment being a half yearly payment be
to be made at once 1s: if being a quarterly payment, it be to be made at once the sum
of 6d: if in either case it be to be made by monthly instalments, each time 3d: if by
weekly instalments each time 1d: and no more.

Triplicates of the Receipt
to be taken: for
1. The Post Master
2. The Governor
3. The Post Office

Art.16. Of such receipt there shall be triplicate originals: one, thereof the
said Post Master may retain for his own use: the remaining ones shall forthwith be
sent by him by the Post, the one to the Governor as aforesaid: the other to the General
Post Office in London where the same shall be duly preserved by the proper Officer
among the muniments of the said Office
