-- whereupon the Ward
becomes bound to the Metasylum --
Art. 21. On the cessation of such Bondsmanship as
aforesaid, the Ward shall, upon notice given him on the
part of the Governor, stand engaged to repair to the Metasylum
there to serve from Year to Year, as if he had
originally engaged therein: and if upon receipt of such
notice he do not with all convenient speed repaid and
surrender himself thereto, he shall be deemed guilty of absentation
from service or of desertion from service as
hereinafter mentioned, according to the nature of the case.

Renewal of Wardship

Art. 22. And for the farther accommodation of such
Friendly Guardians & their Wards as may chance to be
resident in any part of this Kingdom remote from the
Metropolis Be it enacted that in any such case the
several instruments which upon the expiration of any such
Year of Wardship will or may require to be renewed may
through the medium of the General Post be renewed at any
Post Town in manner following:
1. The Ward may send to the said Governor a Petition
praying the renewal of the Assignment of Wardship, according
to a Form with which the said Governor shall
have furnished him for that purpose: and which may be
to the effect of the Form marked [F. 11]: sending moreover
to the said Governor one of his the said Ward's
Counterpart
