Panopticon Bill.Friendly Guardianship

3. And Whereas at the request of the said A. W.,
and according to the conditions contained in the
Statute aforesaid I have consented to be bound for
him in the capacity of his Friendly Guardian.

4. And Whereas the said Governor hath also
signified his consent to accept of me in the said
capacity and to execute in my favour an Assignment
of the Wardship of the said A. W. I do
accordingly engage as follows, that is to say:

1. I will on the aforesaid _____ of [Month]
appear by myself, or Agent at the said Penitentiary
House [or Metasylum] and then & there take
the said A. W. under my charge.

2. I will from the day aforesaid untill that day
twelvemonth provide for the maintenance of the
said A. W.: and for every charge which through
my failure therein shall have devolved upon any
person or persons, I will make full amends.

3. In the event of the said A. W.'s being convicted
(which God forbid!) of any felony or felonies
committed during the aforesaid term of this my
Guardianship I will to the extent of the penalty
of this my Bond make pecuniary amends for
