Visiter refusing to
enter his name &c in
either Book committable
till he comply.

Art. 10. Any person who upon any such
Book's being tendered to him shall refuse to enter
or make known his or her direction in manner
above-mentioned, may be detained in the said
Penitentiary House as a Prisoner till he or she
comply.

Penalty for false
entry.

Art. 11. Any person who, pretending to comply
with such requisition, shall in manner above
-mentioned give in a false or insufficient direction,
insomuch that, on enquiry duly made
according to the same, such person's true name
or abode shall not be to be found or shall be found
not to be according to the same shall on conviction
before any one Justice of the Peace forfeit to the
Governor for the encrease of the Superannuation-
-Annuity Fund any sum not less than 5£ nor
more than 5£: or in default of payment be
committed to the House of Correction or with the
consent of the said Governor to the said Penitentiary
House for any term not greater than one
month.
