- besides indemnification
money for subsequent
felonies committed
by the Deserter -
Art. 22. If a Metasylum-man or woman
having deserted shall be convicted of a felony committed
after such desertion any person accessory to
such desertion as abovementioned shall over and above
all other penalties forfeit to the use of the Governor
whatsoever the Governor shall have paid or stand
liable to pay in the name of indemnification-money
on account of such felony: as also to the use of any
party grieved thereby the amount of whatsoever
damage if any shall not have been covered by
indemnification-money so paid or to be paid
by the said Governor.

not having proper
Certificates, committable
as fugitives or
Deserters -
Art. 23. And forasmuch as in virtue
of divers provisions herein above contained every quondam
Penitentiary Prisoner will according to the election
he has made have been provided with some
instrument demonstrative of his discharge from
the said Penitentiary House, & expressive of the
service in which he thereupon stands engaged: to
wit either his Metasylum Service Engagement,
his Copy of Assignment of Wardship, his Certificate
of Discharge & Inlistment, as the case
may be: as also if absolutely emancipated his
Instrument of absolute Emancipation In consideration
thereof
