same powers in any Place without the jurisdiction of
such Magistrate as in any Place within the same.
29.
at Governor's expence
Art.29. The expence of conveyance not exceeding
a Mile shall in such case be borne by the said
Governor: and the Magistrate by whose warrant such
conveyance is ordered may for the raising the amount
thereof either proceed as under the Statute of the 27th
of King George the 2d ch.3. by order upon the
Treasurer of the County, or in Middlesex upon the
Overseers of the Poor who in such case shall respectively
have their recourse against the said Governor for
the money so advanced or may make an order of requisition
directed immediately to the said Governor,
who in such case shall forthwith on receipt of the body
pay the sum expressed in such order to the person producing
the same.

So, if charged with any
other offence, if arrested
in the County where
the Penitentiary House
is
Art. 30. So also any Penitentiary Prisoner or
quondam Penitentiary Prisoner, who standing
charged with any other offence for which he might be
committed, shall have been apprehended in the County
in which such Penitentiary House comes to be
situated, may in the like manner be committed for trial
or otherwise to the said Penitentiary House: provided
that in this case the charge of conveyance shall not
be borne by the Governor, but defray'd as the like
charge is defray'd at present. Art.31.
