Damage, from the felony
of a prisoner marked to
be found and recorded -
Art.7. Upon the trial of any Prisoner for felony,
the Court of its own motion may, and upon application
made by or on behalf of any person interested shall cause
the prisoner to be searched for an identification mark, and
if any such mark or traces thereof be found and the same
agrees with any identification mark in the abovementioned
table contained, the Court if it be not a case where the amount
of the damage is already found of course shall in case of
conviction give in charge to the Jury to enquire into and
find the amount of such damage according to the mode
of estimation abovementioned+: and the amount thereof as
found by the Jury shall entered on the Record.

Indemnification-money,
how to be drawn for upon
the Governor, and upon
occasion advanced -
Art.8. The Court shall thereupon cause to be drawn
by any such proper Officer as aforesaid a Bill or Bills of
exchange upon the Governor for the amount of the damage
so found, in favour of any such person or persons by
whom the same appears to have been sustained: which
said Bills may be termed Indemnification Draughts:
and may be conceived mutatis mutandis according to the form
marked [H.] and in consideration of the circumstances
of any such person the Court may make an order upon the
Treasurer of the County to pay the amount thereof at sight,
in the same manner as for the expences of prosecution
under the Statute of the 25th of George the 2nd, Chapter 36. such
