Instructions for the Examination of A. W. touching the Settlement of A. P.
Penitentiary Man

Here state the nature of the evidence which it is supposed the intended Examinant
may be able to give and the grounds for supposing him able so to do.

Questions humbly submitted as proper to be put to the said intended Examinant.

With any such other proper Questions as his answers to the Questions aforesaid may
suggest, and any other questions whatsoever which to the Examining Magistrate may appear
proper to be put, and calculated to obtain true and material information relative to the case.

Gentlemen
This is to inform you by Order of the Court that your packet dated the
_____ day of [Month Year] and to me directed in order that the same might by me
be presented to the Court was on the _____ day of [Month Year] by me accordingly
received: and therein your several inclosures respectively marked A. B. C. D. E. and
F.
In answer thereto I am to inform you that in pursuance of an Order of the said
Court the Papers marked B. C. D. and E (the paper marked D. having been first
duly filled up by Order as aforesaid) were by me this day delivered [or addressed by Post]
to A. J. of __________ near [Town] Esquire. By the Court
